Christmas all around - Day 3

Today we started the day with a visit of Hampton Court Palace where we saw beautiful gardens and paintings .We saw the different rooms occupied by kings and queens, Henry VIII's chapel and kitchens. For us, this was the most beautiful castle we had ever seen.

In the afternoon, we went to Twickenham Stadium where we had a guided tour. We visited the pitch, the changing rooms and the Royal family's stands. The guide showed us two plaques in memory of rugby players who died in the First and Second World Wars and also the emblems of every international rugby team that has played in this stadium. In the museum we played games. In one of them, we had to jump as highest possible, in another one we had to kick a ball to see if we could score a point.

At the end of the day we had some free time in Guilford to go shopping and visit the city by ourselves.
